When carefully installed according to instructions (including any tightening specifications), we believe our proprietary mount design transmits less engine vibration than other aftermarket mounts. (And, no, we're not going to tell you how!)

Ease of installation.

Brown Dog motor mounts bolt to the frame-side bracket (pylon) and to either Jeep or Brown Dog engine-side brackets.
Brown Dog engine brackets (aka engine plates) bolt directly to existing thread bosses in the Jeep engine block and accept most motor mounts. No modifications. No welding.
Very, very rare, if ever, modification required. (We'd say "never," but we haven't personally seen every Jeep ever made; there may still be an unusual situation somewhere.)

If a Brown Dog Offroad product was installed correctly and any yellow (or welded to yellow) portion of our product fails,
Send us photos and we'll send you replacements.
Replaceable Ultra-Flex Rubber or Classic Polyurethane bushings are not covered.
If we want the engine brackets or mounts returned, we'll pay for shipping AFTER you've received and installed replacements on your Jeep. We're that sure.
