Pair Stock-Height Classic Polyurethane Motor Mounts

The Brown Dog has friends with Cherokee XJ who have experienced a sagging motor mount. This is why we engineered these replacement motor mounts for extreme strength. You'll find these mounts a serious upgrade from other mounts, too. These attach to the frame-side bracket just like the originals. Our right (passenger-side), double-stud mount, bolts into original location like your original right mount. The left (driver-side mount) features one stud and a hole for the other bolt and nut, like the original left mount.

High Performance Design.
We use steel and feature double-weld joints to provide the most strength possible. And, just to make sure, we periodically pull a set of mounts off the shelf and put them through our 20-Ton Press Test. We have yet to see a Brown Dog MM or MML with a structural failure.

The Classic Polyurethane bushings in this set of Brown Dog motor mounts will give your rig a sportier feel. If the bushings ever start to wear, replacements are available from Brown Dog Offroad. Installation Notes

Engine remains in stock position.
Mounts bolt directly to original frame-side brackets, in the identical position of the stock mounts and are for use with OE engine brackets.

Carefully inspect engine brackets for any excess wear, especially cracks. The original brackets weren't designed to handle the strength of these high-performance motor mounts. If original engine brackets need replaced, do NOT order these mounts. Instead, order the appropriate upgrade kit.
- If 1991-1996 2.5L XJ or 1991-1992 2.5L MJ, order X2569-0 Upgrade Kit which includes Classic Polyurethane motor mounts, engine brackets and the mount support cradle.
- 1997 and later 2.5L XJ, order K2569-0 Upgrade Kit which includes Classic Polyurethane motor mounts, engine brackets, but does not include the support cradle.
- Sorry, brackets currently not available for 1987-1990 2.5L vehicles.
Tighten through-bolts (bolt that goes through bracket arms and motor mount) snug. Do not overtighten locknuts on throughbolts.
Bolts to pylons should be tightened like most others on your Jeep frame. Nice and tight.
