CU2569-1, Ultra-Flex Rubber 1" Motor Mount Lift (Pair)
Want Jeep motor mount lifts (MMLs) to help compensate for driveline angle problems cause by a suspension lift? Has some other modification impacted the driveline angle? Brown Dog designed these motor mount lifts to reposition your engine one inch higher than stock (at the cooling fan). This modification results in a change in the driveline angle.
High Performance Design.
The Brown Dog has friends who experienced a sagging engine on their early Wrangler YJs. This is why we engineered these replacement motor mounts for extreme strength. You'll find these mounts a serious upgrade from most others, too. We use plate steel and double-weld joints to provide the most strength possible. And, just to make sure, we periodically pull one off the shelf and put it through our 20-Ton Press Test. We have never seen a structural failure on Brown Dog mounts.
Featuring Ultra-Flex Rubber Bushings.
These Brown Dog motor mounts feature Ultra-Flex Rubber bushings designed to dampen drive-train vibration. If this is your daily driver, you may find these bushings well worth the extra money. Should you ever need to replace the bushings, well have them. Prefer Classic Polyurethane bushings for a sportier feel? We offer all motor mounts and motor mount lifts with either polyurethane or rubber to match your preference. Not sure which is for you? Click here.
Free Shipping.
All products ship free to all USA and APO/FPO addresses. International customers pay reasonable shipping fee. Never a "handling fee." Click here for shipping policy.

Installation Notes
- Motor mount lifts bolt directly to the pylon in the identical position of the stock mounts. The passenger side (right) mount in YJ, XJ, and MJ bolts to a cradle which, in turn, bolts to pylon.
-
Inspect cradle for cracks, if in good condition, you may wish to reuse your existing cradle. Cradle available separately.
-
Carefully inspect engine brackets for any excess wear, especially cracks or other signs of weakness. The original aluminum brackets found on many Jeep in this era weren't designed to handle the strength of these high-performance motor mounts. Brown Dog all-steel, double-welded, lipless brackets are also available for use with these motor mounts. This pair of all-steel MML with Ultra-Flex Rubber bushings may be too much for your old, tired brackets to handle. If you suspect bracket weakness or have one of the cast aluminum engine brackets commonly used during this era, please consider our Upgrade Kits
-
XU2569-1 includes MML, brackets and the cradle (CR2569) that the right (passenger side) mount to sits on.
