| Jeep Motor Mounts, Stock Height (Pair)
The Brown Dog has experienced a couple busted stock motor mounts himself, on his own Jeep Wrangler. This is why we engineered these replacement motor mounts for extreme strength. You'll find these mounts a serious upgrade from most other mounts, too. High Performance Design.
We use U.S. made steel and feature double-weld joints to provide the most strength possible. And, just to make sure, we periodically pull a set of mounts off the shelf and put them through our 20-Ton Press Test. We have yet to see a Brown Dog MM or MML with a structural failure. Featuring Classic Polyurethane Bushings. The Classic Polyurethane bushings in this set of Brown Dog motor mounts will give your rig a sportier feel. If the bushings ever start to wear, replacements are available from Brown Dog Offroad. Prefer our proprietary Ultra-Flex Rubber bushings? Installation Notes - Mounts bolt directly to the pylons or frame-side brackets, in the identical position of the stock mounts.
- These mounts secure engine into original stock position.
- Carefully inspect engine brackets for any excess wear, especially cracks. Also check for sheared or broken engine bracket bolts at the engine block. If brackets show wear, order K2572-0. If you have broken or sheared engine block bolts, the brackets in our S2572-0 kit are design to overcome or prevent this issue. Both kits include both motor mounts and engine brackets.

Tighten through-bolts (bolt that goes through bracket arms and motor mount) snug, according to instructions. Do not over-tighten all-metal through-bolt lock nuts.

Pylon bolts should be tightened like most others on your Jeep frame. Nice and tight. -
No modification or interference with Wrangler YJ engine bracket arms.
