CU2883-1, Ultra-Flex Rubber 1" Motor Mount Lifts (Pair)

Want Jeep motor mount lifts (MMLs) to help correct driveline angle caused by an extreme suspension lift? Doing a tummy tuck or other modification that's impacting drive-line angle? Brown Dog designed these MML to reposition your engine one inch higher than stock (at the cooling fan). This modification results in a change in the driveline angle.

High Performance Design.
The Brown Dog experienced a sagging engine on his own Wrangler. This is why we engineered these replacement MML for extreme strength. You'll find these mounts a serious upgrade from most others, too. We use plate steel and double-weld joints to provide the most strength possible. And, just to make sure, we periodically pull one off the shelf and put it through our 20-Ton Press Test. We have never seen a structural failure on Brown Dog mounts.

Featuring Ultra-Flex Rubber Bushings.

These Brown Dog motor mounts feature Ultra-Flex Rubber bushings designed to dampen drive-train vibration. If this is your daily driver, you may find these bushings well worth the extra money. Installation Notes

4.0L engine is lifted 1" at stock cooling fan.
Mounts bolt directly to the pylons (frame-side brackets) and slides into original Jeep 4.0L engine brackets with no grinding or trimming.
Carefully inspect engine bracket block bolts for broken bolts or ripped thread bosses. The original engine mounting design wasn't designed to handle sudden drops, whether from rocks, logs or potholes. If engine brackets need replaced, please consider upgrading to the appropriate kit for your vehicle and engine. All Brown Dog Offroad kits include both Motor Mount Lifts and both Engine Brackets.
Tighten through-bolts (bolt that goes through bracket arms and motor mount) snug...exactly as instructed. Do NOT over-tighten all-metal, self-torquing lock nuts on through-bolts.
Bolts to pylons should be tightened like most others on your Jeep frame. Nice and tight.
